I went to go see Epica on Nov. 30. It was awesome! Not only did the show rock, I caught a towel thrown from onstage, and I got to meet Mark Jansen and Simone Simons! So, yep, I was Dionae for Halloween. I made the dress--my first attempt at drafting my own pattern--(although my mom did help with the trim) and added eyelets and laces to the gloves. I think it came out nice. :) I'm sure only I will appreciate the authenticity though. Silly me, I'm such a perfectionist.

We finished filming the promo for The Highwayman. It was really neat getting to be a part of that. Can't wait to see how the full feature will turn out. :) They're planning on starting shooting for that sometime in the fall. Oh, I didn't post about getting to see Jeff Finger and Kyle Cumiskey of the Avalanche when they came to the rink where my little brother plays roller hockey. They were helping out some little kids with learning to skate better and avoiding obstacles (like gloves being thrown at them, hehehe).
