Roller derby practice tonight was fun... and HARD. I've got most of the basics down, so I spent the night trying to perfect my form. It's no use being able to go fast when you look like you're about to lose your balance at any moment--you'll get singled out and targeted even if you're a good skater. So I spent my time on the rink trying to work on crossovers, turning quickly, etc. I'm still shaky, but I'm getting much better. It was great meeting some of the girls I haven't met yet... this is going to rock once everything gels together. I can't believe I'm doing this!

I think I decided on my rollergirl name: Screama Donna. I love it and I don't think it's taken. What do you all think?

Holy crap, I am SO SORE. Bubble bath, here I come.
