*I was at Kinko's at midnight last night (this morning?), making copies of some stuff for the campaign, when this older guy came up to me and handed me this fluorescent card and said "this is yours", then walked away.
The card said: "I'm alive and valid. I am honest. I have purpose."
Considering the mental state I was in last night, I found this to be really, really eerie. I have the card in my wallet.
*I was surfing around on the internet and found a Myspace page for the Fashion Smoothies-- non-Roanokers won't understand, but I was squealing like a teenage girl. These guys are pretty much the symbol of my days in the Star City... which led me to reconnecting with my old friend Billy. Small world, indeed.
*My car smelled like oranges when I got in it for work this morning. I can't figure out why.
*for the past two days, I've had "MX Missile" by Andrew Bird stuck in my head. I'm working really hard on this 'reclaiming my music' thing. I think I've conquered this one. Next up is Eels. I'm not missing that concert for anything, but I've got some work to do. :)
*If there's anyone reading this in Indianapolis that has a couple of hours of free time available on May 2nd, email me! We're in need of volunteers for the campaign. kajrules at gmail, as always.
*I could really, really, REALLY use a back massage.
