These are pretty much chronological
When I went to pride I was staying with my awesome friend Caitlin, and I hung out with a bunch of her friends, such as Ali:
Hedvig and I didn't get into town until Saturday evening. Here we are with Caitlin.
Hedvig and Caitlin
No one else seemed to be as excited about this as I was, but we actually saw THE NYLONS! Only for a small while, but still!
On the subway on the way home, there were these adorable sleeping guys.
SUNDAY, the day of the parade:
waiting for the bus, Hedvig, Caitlin and Dan.
...and we took the subway in the wrong direction, haha! Caitlin said let's not tell anyone, but I have photographic evidence.
I found Sarah.
And Vero
Waiting for the parade...
Here it comes!
Yay for Bishop Fearless
Go Jack Layton! I so voted for you.
This humoungous rainbow flag was SO HUGE I couldn't believe.
front of sign: "Just Married"
back of sign: "The mounties always get their man!"
Blue shirt guy! We have so many pictures of him.. he was totally rockin' it out to all the music, haha!!
This is at one of the stages with lots of drag kings:
Check out the 'stache!!
Does anyone recognize this drag king from Guelph? I saw him perform at a Drag Your Ass Out show, and it was amazing!! I don't know his name though..
This is the girl who organizes the Genderfukt thing in Toronto.. dancin' and stuff. The MC (behind her) is Brian, this awesome guy who we were hanging out with later.
This is Dani! I was so excited, we went to the science centre together last time I was in the T-dot.
Then I went with this lot to their hotel room. From left, Ali, Sarah, Tyler, Brian. Tyler didn't come, I only met him momentarily.
Also with us were these Polish cousins, Monica and Magda. OH MAN. This humpy pileup is Monica on top of Magda on top of Brian. Luckily, my camera didn't take any incrimitating pictures.. muahahaa!!!
Then we went back to that drag-y stage. This king was so convincing! I also saw a really good one Saturday night, but we arrived just as he was finishing so I didn't get a decent photo. Plus it was too dark, really.
I really liked this outfit, but.. is it weird that when I see something like this, I think "OH I sell that fabric at my work!"?
What a great time (of course)!
Happy pride!
