Alice watched the woman go, a frown forming a little crease in between her eyebrows. She wasn't really sure what had just happened. It was like being accosted by an Oompa Loompa; bizarre and inexplicable

"No," John answered, shaking his head. Between Rodney and Morgan, he was pretty sure he was working his way toward a headache, and he knew it was only the start. "She's acting crazy. Rodney's acting crazy, too."

"Oh," Alice said. It was all clear to her now. "I thought she was just high on something." On this island, you never knew.

She shook her head. "Is anyone else you know - affected?" She'd almost said infected.

"I've just seen those two," John said, much grimmer than the occasion probably called for. "Rodney says he's getting married tomorrow."

"So he didn't proposition you, too?" Alice deadpanned. "That's a shame." She would have liked an excuse to hit him. There was something about McKay that was extremely hittable. He meant well, though, she could tell that much.
