Comment and I'll give you a letter, then you have to list ten people/places/things you love that begin with that letter. Afterwards, post it on your journal and fill out letters of your own.
airekuh gave me "A"
There were supposed to be pictures. Alas, my computer is an asshole, and making the pictures look decent would take even longer on this damn thing. Thus, LINKS GALORE.
1.
Apples - My favorite fruit, and one of my favorite foods - period. Favorite apple: Fujis, Honeycrisps, and Sonyas. Least favorite: Golden Delicious, Macintosh (< my Mom's favorite).
2.
Anthony Weiner - Come on, just look at him! Plus, he is a proven
BAMF.
3.
Anderson Cooper - Again, look at him! He's an amazing journalist, TV host (srs bzns and otherwise...) and he's ripped genuinely smart.
4.
Archery - Full disclosure: i haven't done any archery since I was in public school. BUT, it was really fun, I was always excited to play, and I almost became good at it! And my enthusiasm may or may not have been influenced by my love of Inuyasha back then.
5.
Across the Universe - Though I do love the song, (all bajillion versions of it) I'm referring to the movie. To be honest, I didn't really give a crap about the Beatles music before I saw the trailer for this movie. In fact, the trailer for this movie is probably my favorite EVER. When ever Mom and I saw a movie, I would hold my breath in anticipation during the previews, hoping I would get to see the trailer on the big screen before the movie came out. When it finally did, my heart literally LEAPED in my chest. And then when the movie finally came out, we saw it four times.
6.
Aziraphale - My favorite character from one of my favorite books, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Plus, AziraphalexCrowley is one of my favorite ships.
7.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - One of my first movies, that I watched over and over and over again. It would be years before I figured out the whole "Einhorn is a man" thing and even longer before I figured out the "reveal" scene at the end. Sequels? What sequels?
8.
Alice in Wonderland - My favorite animated Disney movie not driven by animals (Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, etc.). Looking back, it probably had something to do with the lack of a "Prince Charming" character.
9.
Accordions - Weird Al made me love them, though I doubt learning to play one will make my to-do list.
10.
Awl, The - I discovered this site soon after I discovered Twitter, because everyone I was following was linking to it. They find the funniest stories, and their headlines are amazing.
