oh...blacksburg.
it's a suprisingly hippish town.
there's a lot of tie-dye downtown and a lot of intersting head wraps...lol.
hookah is a campus obsession.
everyone goes to shee-sha...this pretty shitty hookah bar, but i still love it.
erica and i pretty much know the staff by now.
i haven't been carded in weeks.
and every night in front of one of the dining halls..dietrick...there's at least five hookahs set up on the outside tables.
the vast majority of my friends own them too.
haha, i'm probaby going to die because of this...but i'm oddly okay with that.
there are a lot of foreign people too.
a LOT of indians...i've had a couple of bus rides where i'm the only white person and have no idea what anyone else is saying.
and the campus is just beautiful.
i've had moments walking back from studio across the drillfield with my ipod in where i'm just astounded by what a beautiful place i'm in...and i get so incredibly happy.
i've become an architecture freak.
everytime i walk to studio i pass this one building site and i actually get excited.
it's good to know that i've found my place, you know?
i'll see an intersting curve or a intersection of lines and i just see a building in my head starting to form.
i want this bad.
more than anything in the entire world.
it's also funny how the campus and student body is HUGE but it just doesn't seem that way.
everyone is so friendly and i've really developed an awesome friend base.
most of them are upperclassmen so they know the ropes and have my back no matter what.
and i love that.
