gah...i've been neglecting this like whoah.
i am GLORIOUS!
tech was the best decision of my life...it's like my bubble. i can escape from everything here. i've got an amazing group of friends here...a bunch of new big brothers to watch out for me and erica (my AMAZING suitemate) whenever i need her.
nate and i have split up in case that message never got passed.
it was the right thing.
distance is too hard.
temptations are too intense on both sides.
but we still love each other more than ever before.
in fact i was at CNU this past weekend and had an amazing time with him.
got a sparkly new present for no apparent reason other than him wanting to make me happy.

oddly enough, now that we're split up we talk more than we ever have and feel a lot better about being completely open with each other.
we discuss what was wrong in our relationship, how things might work out for us in the future, and just everything...random shit that we never knew about each other.
i love that he's there if i need him no matter what and that he'll always be a best friend/lover/etc. but i also love that if i'm attracted to someone here i have no qualms about hooking up with them...it's AWESOME! and believe me...i have. no strings attached. single=good
