i was going to make a post about nearly the same thing, on this one sign i saw in the bus. i think ill just sum it up with this post. the sign: "6% of congress is women in 19something, 15% in 2005." women have to run to be elected. women get equal vote as men. jesus. "Roe v wade allowed women to make their own decisions, now in 2005 pharmacists, politicians, and judges want to make the woman's decision" fuck, who gave you the "right" to kill your baby because of something that is not even explicitly written in the constitution? the judges and politicians. "men coming out of uc davis make more than women over 10 years" well seeing as ucd is a great science and math school, and men are more likley to pursue a career concerning these fields (ie ENGINEERING) and these careers start off higher paying than say, a pre-med who spends the next 11 years in med school and residency. fukn a
oh and i apparently whenever i hear a sexist comment i should speak up or else it causes violence against women. well i guess ben's proffessor just caused all the women of Lesbos to be destroyed.
