So tonight I went to Dillinger Escape Plan, Between the Buried and Me, Hella, and Horse(the band).
Good part, it was an amazing show, every band was great, and Dillinger was like...just, wow.
Bad part, it was at chain reaction. I forgot how many dirty lil' scene fucks go there, haha. I also forgot how much they bother me in general, especially the dancing. At least, dancing when they shouldn't be, like to Between the Buried and Me and stuff, that's fuckin' METAL. Mosh pits are okay, but this kicking and arm flayling stuff...argh.

Next enemy. The feminist.
Today was outstanding in the area of making me angry at the female.
In my film 113 class, this guy offered a pyramid containing the following, "God, Man, Robot, All Other Creatures" suggesting that the Cyborg came in between man and robot, and the robot being a creation of a creation (if God created man, he posed). Then, my GREAT(yeah right) film professor told him he was missing something very important. Silence. Then her answer. "the woman." The kid explained that "Man" defined women in the term as well, and she said she understood but she thought it was interesting he didn't say "human." It was bullshit, obviously the guy didn't mean any harm. And this book she assigned us, the "gendered cyborg", well how can a book about gender be written by allllll women? Every article, the editing, all by women. It's bias, and a stupid ass reason to attempt to bring feminist viewpoints into a FILM class. And to make things short, she does the same in my 85a film class.
Most of these feminists, they are just man haters or something, not equalists, they just want special rights, and it's rediculous, at least the ones I'm exposed to. I am all for equality though, or whatever...just, some of this feminist shit pisses me off.
And I've realized people complain so much, about women rights, about our Governer, about anything, but they don't do anything about it, just complain like since they are in college their opinion matters. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, but all I know is, it annoys me. And yes, i'm complaining now, but i can't do anything about making people that complain not complain, or...I don't know, this is sorta' a rage filled post, sorry, haha.
But I needed to get it off my chest, because I don't think women studies belongs in a film class, or any political views for that matter, at least ones that are off subject.
El Fin.
