We had a pretty severe aftershock this evening, 5.3 and it went on for ages, freaked me out majorly. Then, on top of my already frayed nerves, another big jolt about two hours later. Reports of power cuts, new damage, liquefaction and rock falls from the city but no one hurt so that's good.

Yeah, so I'm quite on edge tonight but it's still been a very good day.

Why? Because kabuki_party is amazing and awesome and a million things in between :P I know I said it on Twitter but you almost made me cry, K. *hugs* (except my sis was there and I never would have lived it down :P)

K told me she was sending me something after the earthquake but didn't tell me what :P But today I got to find out for myself! I totally need to post pictures of the awesome stuff she sent me but it's 2am here so tomorrow/later today :P I love the bracelets so much though, and the scarf, and the candles, and even the strange, foreign newspapers they came wrapped in :P Also, purple, everywhere, my favourite colour!

I want to thank everyone who's been listening to my rants and freak-out in the past few months as well. Earthquakes are shit-scary guys, and they may only take seconds but it's not something that's over quickly at all, aftershocks and rebuilding go on for years, not to mention the mental stress, and we've only just started.

You've ALL been so awesome and epic and I don't know what I'd have done without you, but I have to give special mention to babettew54, barb1808 and of course, kabuki_party who have just been so awesome in just listening and talking to me not only here but on Skype as well (though I think it might have been more of the 'listening' because I know how I go on :P). And now Twitter too :P

*HUGS HER F-LIST*
