Memorial Day
Neil and I took flowers to church yesterday. One for each of those near to our hearts who have traveled ahead of us. We added our flowers to the cross next to our memorial garden. The church service started out there. Memorial Day always makes me realize how fortunate I am to have had such wonderful people in my life.
O God of our beginnings and endings, I celebrate all that I have shared with Mama and Daddy and Rick and ask your blessing as they continue on their journeys. May the love that is in our hearts be a bond that unites us forever, wherever we may be. Amen.
