Job Interviews
I think both of my job interviews went well. The Gap interview process was quite cheesy, as the girl asked our group stupid situational questions in which we had to answer with touchy, feely stories. I played along. One girl was completely insipid. She ended all of her stories with a reference to how much she enjoyed shopping at the Gap. lol. Maybe she was more cunning than she let on. I think I was at an advantage because of my sex (being the only male in the group) and my age (being the only one older than 21).
The tutoring job interview was actually kinda fun. There were all sorts of people from different educational backgrounds and such. We had to prepare a short 5-10 minute lesson plan so they could evaluate our teaching style. I answered the question: What makes a sentence complete? I think it went well (I drew upon my experience as a latin tutor).
I also got a call from Blockbuster. They want to interview me next week. I hope things pan out. Finally, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3...It was "aight". Actually, I was bored for most of it. Has anyone else seen it? Oh, if you haven't, but plan to, don't forget to stay after the credits.
