My summer plans thus far

Hello all! I'm thinking it's been long enough since last I posted on the goings-on of my life. First and foremost, I just bought my plane ticket to Greece! The cost wasn't very pretty, but University of Pennsylvania and UA are reimbursing me for everything. The trip is paid for in full (I know, it's crazy...but I'm definitely not taking this opportunity for granted), I just need to come up with money for travel expenses within Greece and personal stuff (even the food while I'm working is paid for). I've got approximately 2 days before the dig and 7 days after left for traveling around. Haven't really planned out my itinerary yet, but I definitely have some sites in mind. For sure, I'll be spending the first two days checking out Athens. I want to see Delphi, maybe Mycenae, Olympia, and Corinth. I was told by some people to check out one of the islands, or if I could, make my way up to northern Greece. We'll see...I'm gonna do some research and reading beforehand to check out which places would be worthwile for academic and leisure purposes ;)

I don't leave until June 24th, so in the meantime, I've got to find a job, get into better shape, brush up on surveying (Phil, I'm really worried I've forgotten everything!), and manage all of my business here before I go. This week, I have two job interviews: one is for student tutoring in which i must come up with a 5-10 minute lesson plan on a given topic, and the other is for...the GAP! Yes, that's right. Could all of my years of faithful shopping and carefully fashioning my wardrobe through their (mostly) discounted clothing rack pay off? Perhaps. At least I know I won't need to buy work attire. That's all for now. I'll try to keep updating more often.
