Does no one make bloopers anymore?

4:26 PM 12/10/09 · I don't rent comedies very often, barely watch sitcoms on TV unless it's something I catch flipping channels when I've got insomnia. I love them but they're not uusally my first choice. I prefer scifi or horror or something with a lot of action, combo of all 3 is ideal...

...but I did love The Goods. I don't have much to say about it other than I laughed so hard my sides hurt.

It's a comedy about car salesmen in trouble so they call for help from some mercenary, always on the road, uber·car salesmen. These are an interesting subhuman set of people who I'm not so sure are necessarily shallow so much as they're not fully developed. Well developled characters but as actual people they're all kind of missing something...

...and the people they've been hired to help are just about the same.

Truth to tell, with the possible exception of the alligators, I don't think anyone in The Goods is a complete person. They're all missing something. Even the ones that seem relatively normal have issues. Course, that just adds to the comedic spin so I'm not actually complaining.

Oh, the DJ is very poorly named.

genre: dark comedy, movie: the goods
