Got to Denver without any trouble yesterday morning and spent the rest of the day hitting some of the geological touristy stops in the area. First stop was the Royal Gorge, which is like the nations tallest suspension bridge (something like a quarter mile tall), and later on we went to the Garden of the Gods down near Colorado Springs. Just registered for the GSA (Geological Society of America) Annual Meetup/Conference down in Denver at the end of October.
