(no subject)
Watching Forbidden Kingdom. About a half an hour in and no plot to speak of so far, just lots of insanely corny lines and some fun fight scenes.
Since I mostly just want to see the movie for Jackie Chan and Jet Lee together kicking ass, special-effecty or otherwise, that works for me. I could live without the kid, though. I refuse to believe he is supposedly only three years younger than me. He looks all of 15 years old.

Mandy and I are both getting Mortal Kombat vibes from the movie. And then I said something about how I always played the Hair Toss Lady, and Mandy refused to believe that there was a Hair Toss Lady. As I was very certain that I did not hallucinate the disturbingly long chunks of time I spent playing that particular move, I went in search of Mortal Kombat + Special Moves. Sindel did the hair toss, and there is a video evidence to prove it.

There is a kung-fu chick with long white hair on Fobidden Kingdom, and SHE JUST DID A HAIR SPIN!
I swear, the writers must've done hours-long Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 game play marathon before they wrote this.
If for no other reason, this movie officially rocks just for that.
