HP, you are an ass. I got my printer a whopping two months before Vista got into general circulation, and now you're telling me that you can't install it on my new computer because the software only runs on Windows 2000 and XP. Which means I have to go and spend 70 bucks on a new printer, or find a way to cheat the system.
Anyone know now I might go about doing the cheat thing? I found out online that hp's new 4315 printer is pretty much exactly the same as my old 4215 computer, and that I can download the software somewhere (where, I don't know) and install that to trick my printer into thinking it's a printer supported by Vista or trick my printer into thinking I'm running on an older operating system. Computer geeks out there know if this is a cheat that will actually work, or am I doomed to fork over even more money for another damned printer.
