Since I'm spending around 50 bucks on my pay as you go phone, I was thinking about switching to an actual cell phone plan with a monthly bill. Preferably a family plan, since most of my minutes use is done between me and my parents. Any suggestions? I've heard good things about Alltell and Verison (though I don't think either of those has good service in central Wisconsin), and not so good things about Sprint, but otherwise I'm pretty much in the dark on this whole cell phone plan thing.
I mean, I don't talk on the phone *too* much, honestly, usually using about 500 minutes a month (give or take. Truthfully, it really rather depends on whether or not Emmies or Manda decide to give me a ring, or vice versa. Or my mom. We tend to blab quite a bit), but I would rather find something that gives me good service through out all of Central Wisconsin - specifically the Marshfield-Wausau-Stevens Point triangle, which is where I'm most likely to be spending all my time. Trouble is, what little I know of the cell services in Wisconsin, there are two "zones" that cover pretty much the entirety of Central Wisconsin, and the line dividing those zones runs right through Marshfield.
Emily is probably the only one who can help me when it comes to Wisconsin Cell Service. From what I've gleaned, Wisconsin is pretty much one big Dead Zone, which stinks. But I thought I would do an open ask on my friends list in case anyone wants to recommend what cellular services to look for and what ones to avoid.
