I hate baby doll t-shirts. They are too fricking short. If I wanted to show off my stomach every time I lifted my arm above boob-hight, I would just wear a sports bra everywhere.
Second, the sleeves are practically non-existent. Again, if I wanted to show off my arms (which I don't - stupid shoulder and back acne), tank tops come a dime a dozen.
Unfortunately, baby doll shirts are pretty much all you can find in the women's section these days. And they are the only ones with cool patterns and prints.
It is totally unfair, yo.
::loves her Taz "Caution: Mood Swings" shirt, hates the fact that it is baby doll-cut::
This is why now at least half, if not more, of my wardrobe has been purchased from the men's section. Which is fine, I don't mind - I love my Transformers shirt, which was totally picked out of the men's section, but as far as color is concerned, you're choices are black, blue, dark blue, and maybe some army-green. Apparently men have something against color. Would it kill you to throw in some red or maroon? Maybe even some dark purple? Dark purple can totally be manly. Isn't Batman dark purple in the comics?
Seriously, guys. I'm not asking for pastels or anything.
Better yet;
Dear Clothing Brands Designed with Females in mind;
LAY OFF THE BABY DOLL SHIRTS! Seriously, I'm not saying totally get rid of them, but would it kill you to go back to yee days of olde and toss in a few boring solid colored regular t-shirts? Women above the age of 17 everywhere would thank you.
Fashionably Disinclined,
Maren
