The SUPER, EXTREMELY GOOD, OH MY GOD YAY! News:
I HAVE MY COMPUTER BACK!
Shadowlite is all better! No more cracked hinge! And, I'm taking it as a very good sign that she still has the same desktop image and takes forever to load all the programs when I start up. Haven't investigated further - using my dad's computer right now because I wanna transfer what few files I downloaded while Shadowlite was at the Computer Clinic.
I have to say, though, I am really going to miss this one's 3 hour battery life. And the fact that, for some reason, the Semagic for LJ that I downloaded onto this computer isn't as crowded in the Tags - the one on Shadowlite counts anything capitalized as a new tag, so "Holiday" and "holiday" are two separate tags. It makes for a rather cluttered tags section.

Amanda is leaving tomorrow. Sadness. :(
In other news, Dells trip was awesome, I am exhausted, and Batman Forever rocks.
