(no subject)
I generally dislike country. I have nothing against it, mind, but I figure there are better things to be listening to than some love affair with one's tractor, or how much a particular guy (or girl) can drink in on night, or how some second or third wife left her husband, who is therefor heartbroken and must go drink his sorrows away, etc.
My roommate, on the other hand, listens to nothing but country. Any time she turns the TV on, it goes between three channels: MTV, MTV2, and CMT. So I suffer through it. I don't much *like* it, but hey, I'm nothing if not polite, and since it's her TV... ::shrugs::
It means I hear a lot of country. And as much as it pains me to admit it, I do kinda like the song and music video 8th of November by Big and Rich. I really don't much like any of the other songs, but that one always catches my attention when it's on.
And here ends this random update from today. Now I have to go finish my laundry.
