One more reason why I hate Interstate 94 around Minneapolis

Oct 08, 2006 19:44

Back at the dorm. Got here in one piece, though there was a bit of a fender bender just past Minneapolis. Car in front of me stopped kinda suddenly, then I managed to stop, and the car behind me managed to stop, but I don't think the car behind that one quite made it. As far as I can tell, though, me and the car in front of me got off lightly. ( Read more... )

My cousin Adam is a mechanic in St. Cloud!

Er. Unfortunately, I don't actually know where he works. ...or his phone number. Which is no help. ...sorry?

My mom's in New York right now, but if you want me to I can call her when she gets back and see if she knows. ...I think he might do Fords though, which doesn't help you.

You can if you want, but I won't beg it of you (though if you wanna mention it if she calls on a whim, feel free). I'm sure I'll find something, even if it is just the local Chevy dealership. It'll probably cost me something to get it checked, but the ones I've run across in the past have been decent enough. Thank for the offer, though!

It's the thought that counts anyway.

Very glad to hear you're okay, when it comes down to it. *snuzzles* Good luck with all that. I'd help, but I know not of the mechanics of the area.

Ooo, I have been snuzzled.

And as far as I can tell, me and the car are in one peice. This is good.

I still say whoever thought it would be a good idea to have three lanes of traffic with a speed limit of 70 mph should be hanged. Somewhere hot and dry so the buzzards can peck out their eyeballs.

I... don't mind that. XD I actually prefer that interstate over many others. Then... Wausau drivers = hideously bad. As well, we always have so much construction on top of that. Like, uh. HWY 51 is all screwed over. Still.

I've always hated three lane innerstates. Less room for error without causing a worse accident than the one you were trying to avoid. At least with most of the two laners you sometimes drive off into the field if necessary.

Also, I'm paranoid that I'll get boxed in on all sides by several semis. This would be a very bad thing when just passing a single one makes Coyote wobble all over the place.
