GrrrrRAAAR!
Something is chomping the hell out of my moss roses, dammit! Every day I go over and check on them and there's another two or three stems chomped off at the bottom and lying all dried up on the ground. I mean, yeah, moss roses or Portulaca or whatever they're called are damned hard to kill and provided you get the chomped stems back in water before they shrivel up to nothing, there's a very good chance they'll reroot, but dammit, it's annoying! I keep powdering the hell out of them with insecticide and rose powder (and wow does that stuff stink), but whatever the hell it is keeps right on chomping. It doesn't *eat* the stems, it just chomps them off. Any gardeners out there got any tips for me?
All of my other plants are doing very well, though, especially my ginger mint, spearmint (they smell sooooooo good) and Frosty Miller (which is huge and, believe it or not, actually *healthy* after the aphid infestation that plagued it all winter). YAY for happy plants!
