Have seen Day After Tomorrow. Was amused at almost everyone's stupidity. "Oooh, look! A half dozen tornados are tearing up LA! Let's all stand outside and watch!!!" But, the special effects were pretty. And, as Cristin mentioned when she first saw it waaaaay back when was opening in the theatres, it's the first Disaster flick I've seen where the Midwest has been effected. Granted, I imagine most of us northerners would have just saw it as a particularly nasty blizzard, and the snowmobiles would have a hay-day once the temperatures got above -20, but, yeah, there would be some effect. And, hey! I bet the whole 30 feet of snow and super sub-zero temperatures worked *wonders* for New York's smog problems! And every other big city in the northern hemisphere. The people on the space station even said at the end "Have you ever seen the air so clear?" And it cleared out a bunch of idiots from the population! YAY Natural Selection!
Isn't finding the positive side of world destruction fun? :D I wonder if Mother Nature watched this movie, it might give her some ideas.
