NOOOOOOO! crack_van's last month as an active community will be January 2014! WHERE SHALL I GET MY AWESOME FIC RECS NOW?!
I mean, there will still be fic recs - my ways of acquiring fan fiction are many and all-encompassing because like any good junkie, I MUST HAVE MY FIC even when some of the usual avenues are closed to me for whatever reason - but crack_van was a HUGE resource, especially when I wanted smutty stories (I am not ashamed) or I was just kind of floating in an I Want Fic mode, but I wasn't sure what KIND of fic I wanted, so browsing around sounded most appealing. Crack_Van? Awesome for browsing, because there are literally DOZENS of fandoms on there and the rules were simply "no bad fic allowed".
And now, come January 31 of 2014, one of my biggest suppliers will no longer be offering new updates. WOE IS MEEEEEEEEEE!

Anyone happen to know where I might find these "new platforms" that the moderator speaks of? There is AO3, of course, and I've briefly explored Delicious, but those are the only two I'm aware of.
