Now posting Live from Kennewick, Washington!
Three days, 10-12 hours of driving per day, one mountain range, and at least 8 stops for gas later, WE MADE IT TO KENNEWICK! Hurrah! And yes, driving through the Rocky Mountains was just as long and tedious as I had expected it to be, but Dad did most of the driving anyway, and at least the scenery was pretty. At least until the last three hours or so; after that I was rather sick of the mountains.
Not really any * of interest this trip. Mostly, it was just looooooooooots and lots of driving - left the hotel at about 11 am Mountain time, and only arrived 20 minutes ago at 9:00 Pacific time; total of about 11 hours - and having your ears pop (or wishing they would already) every 10 minutes. There will be lots of pictures, though. Eventually.
