(no subject)
Am on Shadowlight. Had to get my resume off of her, and since she hasn't been turned on in almost a month, she decided it was high time to download a bunch of updates. Since I love her and since I haven't visited her as much as I said I would, I am letting her have her own way and update to her little silicon heart's content.
Today has been unproductive for the most part. I am still in the middle of a rather long laundry marathon. Four loads as compared to my usual 1 or 2. I really have no idea how I managed to acquire so much dirty laundry after only slightly longer than a week since I last did the wash. Though, I suppose since I am also washing my sheets, that might account for about a loads worth of it.
I think I will apply for that internship with Earth magazine (which is why I'm on Shadowlight - a bunch of my files didn't make it over in the transfer from Light to Night. I am totally not surprised). It's only 12 weeks if I do get it, and Mandy said she would totally be interested in closing up the house for the summer and moving down there with me for her own reasons. The possibility of having a friendly face down there has halved the fear - I'm still "OMG!" about it, but not as much. And again, without any experience writing professionally, I highly doubt I'll get the job. I do know that I would always regret it if I don't try, though.
Aaaand it appears that Shadowlight is now happily updated, and is telling me that I need to shut down in order finish installing them. Since my food is done, I will not argue with her. ::pets Shadowlight::
