Went out to dinner with Dana and Uriah at the new Chinese place in Marshfield. It's called World Buffet and it was a very big buffet. Kinda made me wish I was hungrier cause it cost 10 dollars and I only ate maybe 5 dollars worth. And there was lots of choices. What I had was decent. Their potstickers/fried dumplings weren't all that great, and their Egg Drop Soup wasn't the best I've had, but it wasn't the worst, either, and I think it would be well worth a weekday lunch price ($6.95 as compared to weekend $9.95). Mostly, though, it was just an excuse to catch up with Dana and Uriah cause I actually haven't been able to sit down and talk to them for over a year now. Catching up was much fun, and they amused me with the stories of the drunken antics of their friends on New Years Eves of past years.
Before I left for dinner, Parents and I got into the discussion of jackets and by the end of it Dad had me trying on his old bomber jacket. To which I added his Indiana Jones hat just for the fun of it. Then it turned into an impromptu photo shoot that started inside and moved outside. At one point, I ended up falling on my ass (well, more like my side/hip, but not enough to hurt much) on the ice as dad had me and my mom wandering down the driveway while he took pictures. It didn't hurt, and I was laughing pretty much the entire time, and he got a picture of me on the ground that looks like it was done entirely on purpose, so that was fun. It also made me aware of just exactly how slippery my parents driveway is and I took a "shortcut" though our yard on the way back to the house rather than risk falling again. Good times, yo. Will post some pics as dad sends them to me.
