I am at once humbled, amazed, and reverent.
While taking a break from studying, I was doing some reading about Einstein...and I came across a brief transcript of a conversation between Einstein and Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore is a man that completely revolutionized the state of Bengal, as well as much of India. He is a Nobel Laureate in Literature, composed a compendium of songs, and was just an all around brilliant guy (and also the only person to be crdited with writing 2 national anthems - for India and for Bangladesh). Most of us know what Einstein was famous for - but beyond physics he was a humanitarian, deeply political and an accomplished violinist. Reading
this conversation made me just sit there in amazement.
How do such brilliant people, such deep thinkers, exist in the same world that produces Jerry Springer, Lorena Bobbit, and Punk'd?
