What would be my dream occupation?
This begins to feel more than a little repetitive- there are only so many ways I can say that I'm happy where I am- that I like the job I have. ^_~
When I was a little boy, I wanted to be a million different things- ranging from an astronaut to a doctor, an architect, an artist. A little later, I wanted to be an inventor, an engineer, a fighter pilot- even a researcher or a computer programmer.
Now I live somewhere other than Chikyuu (Earth), I am the Shokan Bureau's medical staff. I helped design the reinforced structure of areas of the EnMaCho main building and the library when they were repaired from... various damages. I still can't draw well, but what I can do with the images rather compensates for that. ^.^
I've invented and put in use everything from forcefields and holograms to an automatic cake-slicer, without even going into the chemical concoctions. I can fly- without the plane. I have access to some of the richest sources of information anywhere- both through 'Mother' computer and the library. I designed the operating system for our office computers.
I've done practically everything I've wanted to, half the time I've gone one better- and I've done uncounted numbers of things I never would have imagined it was possible to, when I was alive. This is where I want to be.
