Jesus Is Not a Zombie
Do any of you guys watch "Bones???" I love this show, and tonight's was one of the best of the season. And the above quote is one of the funniest lines I've ever heard on a tv show.
In brief, Brennan is spending her vacation in New Orleans helping identify Katrina victims. Booth is also there, and they get involved with Voodoo. Brennan is comparing Voodoo with Christianity, and Booth, a Catholic, isn't buying it. He interrupts Brennan's list of the things Voodoo and Christianity have in common with one word, "Zombies!" Brennan, of course, brings up the whole Jesus-rose-from-the-dead story, and Booth replies, "Jesus was not a zombie!"
Gene and I both snorted our dinner out our noses at that moment and scared the cats. Missed the next 10 minutes of dialogue we were laughing so hard. It wasn't just the line, but also David Boreanaz' delivery that made it so hysterical.
