Title: Like A Greek Tragedy
Chapter Title: IX. Flowers And Sake
Author: Cella [
stereotype_vamp]
Fandom:BLEACH
Ship: Byakuya/Orihime/Renji [like, threesome of d00my!angst]
Rating: Teen
General Summary: It’s not love, but maybe it is. It’s made out of war, and struggle, and friendship and kindness. It’s odd, and contradictory. Like a Greek tragedy, like an open wound; out in the open, for everyone to see. BYAKUYA. ORIHIME. RENJI. Welcome to this strange show called ‘life’.
Chapter Summary: Training, getting drunk, crying, and hugging one’s taichou: a first day in the Soul Society.
Spoilers: Soul Society arc. AU, because Byakuya also came to the human world; some weeks after the Bounto arc. Arrancar arc about to begin. Highly recommended you read
{Things Better Left Unsaid}, because this goes hand in hand. Basically. Shaped up so that it encases the current Arrancar Arc: something of a reconstruction of the entire arc, so as to fit the fic. Crazy? No!
Dedications: To
ran_huo, who knows when to prod me to write, and who dug my hole for this fandom, making it so deep that now I can’t get out. Not sure I want to get out. To anyone who actually reads this monster, because apparently, now I have fan girls: thank you, thank you. Only you people could be as crazy as I to think that ByaRenHime works.
A/N: I wanted to make this a oneshot. It grew, and grew, to be multi-chaptered. The characters are way too complex to actually ‘fall in love’ in one chapter. This is going to be rather slow, but hopefully, I’ll finish it. [You can bribe me to do that.] I wish I could illustrate some of the scenes to come. Gawd, I wish I could do that. I base most of the training sessions, and its development on the recent happenings in the series: Recently as of chapter 228, Orihime has met with Hachigen, who explains the similarity of their powers and heals Tsubaki for her. He also remarks that her hairpins are like a zanpakuto, but doesn't elaborate further. If they are indeed like a zanpakuto, I intend to stretch Orihime, and see how much she can bear.
A/N the 2nd: I love Rukia. I love Kuukaku. I love them drunk, and I love the sisterly relationship with Orihime and Rukia. The one I’m forming, anyway. Chinese bellflowers are apparently Byakuya’s favourite flowers. I’ve never heard a man admit to his favourite flowers. Byakuya is such a girl. ::snort:: Anyway, I have a lot of fondness for this chapter, and I hope you enjoy it. In case some of you want to know, it IS longer than the previous one, yeah.
(
One should always be drunk! That's all that matters. )
