The Virgin Diet Day 37: Eggs-cellent

Feb 08, 2013 18:31

I didn't get a chance to post on Thursday, so here are some observations from that day. Currently, I'm testing eggs, so on Wednesday and Thursday I had an egg frittata for dinner, containing onions, zucchini, tomatoes and onions, and served with turkey bacon.

Unlike gluten and dairy, I did not immediately have problems with gas, bloating or my skin. In fact, Wednesday night I barely noticed any effects at all, and I felt good much of Thursday, as well. On Thursday evening, after dinner, I suffered from itching in the dry patches in my hands and in the still-healing patches on my skin where I had the allergic reaction to Sun & Earth laundry detergent this past weekend. I'm not certainly if that's related to the eggs or not, so I'll pay careful attention to what happens after I eat the dinner of Huevo Rancheros tonight, which has eggs, red beans, peppers, tomatoes, and onions (I'm skipping the cheese), and will be served on lettuce (since I couldn't find any gluten-free tortillas).
