The Virgin Diet Day 35: Weekend Follow-Up

As I mentioned a couple days ago, I developed a rash this weekend that seemed to be stronger close to any area that had been exposed to clothing I washed with a detergent I'd never used before. As a result, I rewashed everything in a detergent I know is safe as soon as I got home. The rash seems to be going away now, although not as quickly as I'd like. At least it isn't getting worse.
While I was still in the hotel, stuck with nothing but what I'd packed in my suitcase, I tried to figure out something to wear that wouldn't have been washed as recently. I tried the gray sleeveless cowl-neck sweater I'd bought for this year's New Year's Eve party, which I hadn't worn since then. As it turned out, it's now too big around the armholes, revealing my bra. Another sleeveless shirt, which I'd also packed without trying it on, had the same problem.
Despite the fact that it made it more difficult to find something to wear that hadn't been washed recently, that discovery did make me happy.
Tomorrow, I start testing eggs. I don't really expect this one to be a problem, but we'll see what happens.
