Long Week
With Cheesecake getting sick, dealing with a misunderstanding between me and my electrologist, submitting my taxes, applying for a direct consolidation student loan, and feeling a bit under the weather, it has been a looooooong week.
At least it was productive, lol. -
Cheesecake is Ok
He's alive.
According to the vet, Cheesecake has liver disease, which caused him to become severely dehydrated. The vet feels the liver issue is due to his advanced age. Ok..then why give him enrofloxacin, which is an antibiotic. My conversations with him never mentioned an infection. Covering all the bases I guess? Tomorrow I'll be talking to the ( Read more... ) -

He spent the night under observation. If the blood test warrants it, he might receive an antibiotic shot.
Technically, Cheesecake is my sister's bird, but she won't contribute to his medical care costs. Apparently she "has no money." No, what she meant was she has no money to spend on her own damn bird. She sure has money to spend on an ugly $45 ( Read more... ) -
Spraying Fiasco
Last week was exhausting.
Two Fridays ago we received notice there would be mandatory spraying in all apartment units on Monday, February 8th. This put us into a panic because:
1) We have birds.
2) I have MCS (ok this only put me in a panic).
