It's incredible how far you pulled me into this story. Jared and Jensen's lives were struck with the force of a mack truck. Everything became focused on that one horrible act done by a total monster. I felt like the J's brought down some Winchester justice on a well deserving monster.

Jensen's struggle as a victim really caught me off guard. I never really thought about what the witnesses of such a violent crime would encounter as symptoms. I think it's wonderful that you put a lot of time in describing Jensen's pain. His confession of wanting to commit suicide was my moment of tears. Just to think that he could be in that much pain and be afraid to show it, because he had to appear strong for Jared. Jared wisdom and thoughtfulness even when in pain himself to ask for help for Jensen, also brought on tears. Just overpowering love jumped off the pages.

Finally, I am so pleased that you gave substance to the time it actually takes for a person to start healing and moving forward in their life after a sexual assault. You wrote of the mood swings, and botched attempts at normal. You wrote of the anger, frustration, and the numbness that overwhelms a life to the point of paralyzation. All of the symptoms, and reactions both Jared and Jensen had were believable and honest. You should feel very proud of this story.

I've actually been worrying over this story and whether what I was trying to get across would come through or not but you're comment shows me that it did. And that makes me very, very happy.
