Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch...

Boy, have I been remiss! Lots of stuff has been happening, so I haven't been online much. Ack! So, first off, new avatar alert- #6 is "Aw, So Cute!" young Hatori and Momiji-chan! It reminded me of a Momiji fanfic where he talked about Hatori being a second father to him. AWWW! Renee likes!

I acquired "Okami" for my birthday- it's the most beautiful game out there, period. Being a god of nature, the wolf-character is strengthened (EXP-wise) by aiding Nature itself, not just humans. It plays a lot like Zelda, the dialogue is great and there are shocking twists in the plot! A Fantastic Game!

Recently stumbled across the Overclocked Remix site- they rearrange/remix videogame music. I'm now hooked on it, especially the Final Fantasy stuff. I burned a CD of selections today, so I could listen in the car. Hey, a site that has a song blending Chocobo music with the Macarena ( and makes it sound awesome!) can't be bad.

Classes have started up again, and my schedule is surprisingly light- one class meets three times a week in the afternoon, so I snagged that- can you believe that the rest of the graduate courses are from 6-10 PM, one day a week?! Driving home from school to Home 45 minutes away at 10 o'clock at night, in winter weather- madness! Luckily, the class I signed up for- Literary Editing and Publishing- is pretty loosely structured. The main goal of the class is to read and judge manuscripts for a national poetry contest based on a writer on campus. We students just drop by the prof's office, drop off finished manuscripts, pick up new ones and go on our way. My work schedule isn't affected, so so far, this semester is going well.

Hopefully, I get more chances to update. Until then, take care.

-Renee, happy worker bee.
