Des is home
Apparently my niece is home and she hasn't learned a thing. She pulled a 180 just as my brother and sister-in-law were about to take her home. She and her new little friends a the hospital apparently made a pact that if one of them was going to get sent home they would do something that would make them stay longer. Well Destiny, being the follower that she is, decided to tell the councilors that she thought she would be tempted to cut again if they left her alone at home. And the councilors kept her another night. Then she and her mom really got into it that night but without a councilor present to council. My brother told his wife that they couldn't afford to leave her in there and that they needed to just take her home the next night. That's what they did. So it looks like she was just cutting for the attention. She hasn't learned anything. What a lazy waste. I'm tired of trying to help the kid and if she doesn't want to change her attitude then she's just going to end up a loser and there isn't much we can do about it.
On another note. I said I wasn't going to see the 22 year old again. I guess I lied. The Thursday before last he sent me a text message. We texted back and forth and I ended up mentioning my curiosity about kissing a guy with a pierced tongue. Well he has his pierced and well let's just say if you haven't kissed a guy with a tongue piercing it's ummm.... different. Then last night he wanted to do the whole dinner & a movie thing so we did. It was kind of weird walking around with this young guy. It was kind of fun having someone drive and pay for everything. We still don't have much to talk about but the sex is pretty good. Soooo What the heck, I'll hang with the guy for a while. At least I'm getting laid. In the meantime I'm still doing the eharmony thing and still talking to the ex. Yes, I know that's not that great of an idea but I don't give a shit. If he's into me then I'm going to continue to play the game. If nothing else the 22 year old keeps me from freaking out about the ex.
Oh while I'm on the subject of the ex. I should mention that he called on Wed. and one of the things he asked about was Daniel. Yup that peaked his curiosity. Somehow I knew it would.
I'm off to go grocery shopping. I haven't been in over a month I think,
