Techniques list

I admit I never liked writing out battle scenes and I preferred to debate myself out of tight situations. But sometimes, things happen.

The thought dawned upon me when I realized that the Ion Gaiden is less than helpful when it comes to providing information on Original Ion's attacks. The only clue provided is that in the Gaiden, Ion unleashed a blast of Daathic Artes on his enemies. It must have been the same similiar blast that the 7th!Ion used to assist Luke in battle. The blast has no name, so I just call it a DAATHIC ARTE EXPLOSION in my tags. EDIT: I realized it was Akashic Torment.

I was thinking how Asch and Luke are identical. Since Sync used Daathic Artes, and considering who he is, being Ion's 5th replica, I think both Ori!Ion and Sync attacks are completely identical.

Mystic Arte
Akashic Torment - "Now you die! Haaaaa! Akashic Torment!"
Harrowing Gale - "Can ya take this? Harrowing Gale! Now you die!"

Arcane Arte
Stone Dragon Ascent - "Take this! Stone Dragon Ascent!"
Cyclone blaze

Elemental
Absolute - Ice
Frigid Coffin - Water
Gravity Well - Lightening
Thunder Blade - Lightening - "O storm cloud, loose thy blade! Thunder Blade!"
Turbulence - Wind- "Howl O raging wind! Turbulence!"
Ground Dasher - Earth -"O roar of the earth! Ground Dasher!"
Flare Tornado - Fire- "How do ya like this? Flare Tornado!"

Physical/Normal/Strike Artes
Dragon shot
Reaper's Toll

Status
Barrier
Heal

Special
Cursed Fon Slot

Also, for defense, Ion learned a Barrier spell and a simple Healing Spell on his own. They get stronger as Ion becomes stronger in time.

He can also read the Score, but...pffft, he's not going to read it at all. I can tell you that I play Original Ion for this long and this skill is quite useless.

Differences
- Ion is fast in his spell-casting. In the Gaiden, he managed to kill a group of assassins in a few seconds.

- Ion is not agile on his feet and he is not a tank. However, he is not fragile. That is why he has a barrier and healing spell.

- However, his spells are VERY BRUTAL. Meaning, they hit HP harder.

- This Ion will not tire easily from casting spells. Here's why. Therefore, Ion can train himself on low-level monsters without taxing his life...because this Ion is not sick.

- In conclusion, Ion is one mofo mage that is huge on offense. If anything, he's the Genis (Tales of Symphonia) for Tales of the Abyss.
