THIS IS SPARTA!

I'm forever boycotting the MTV Movie Awards now. I don't even watch MTV anymore because I feel a little stupider everytime I watch it.

But the movie awards are always fun to watch...well not this year.

First off, I can't stand Sarah Silvermen. I don't know who said she was funny, but she's not. Not only that, but she gets a great kick out of mocking God, Jesus and Christianity. There are some places you shouldn't go, and she goes there. It sickens me.

Then, wtf, how the hell did Pirates of the Caribbean 2 win over 300? That f*#@$in' movie sucked! After 2 and a half hours of a story going in no direction what so ever, I thought to myself, "I wasted eight dollars for this crap?" It was boring, unoriginal and stale. I'll never forget what my friend said at the part where the Jamaican witch says, "How far would you go to save him?" She leaned towards my ear and said, "How long is this f*#@$*ng movie?"

Well said, well said.

So how this pile of trash beat the flawless epic and poetic vision of Frank Miller, is beyond me.

In other news, K-1 decided to combine their show with the new mma federation of Elite. It was held in the L.A. coliseum and called Dynamite. Let me tell you, a GREAT dissapointment.

First of all, they took at least 20 mins. to an hour between each fight, filling it up with pointless crap. They did a Japanese drum solo for over 15 mins. Mind you, I thought it was cool and all, for the first 2 mins. Then they had a parade of scantily-clad carnaval girls dancing samba in their 6-inch heels, again, wasting my time.

The first few fights in the beginning were decent. There was a submission (arm bar) and a good knockout to a mma newcomer and NFL star. He was beat by an mma figther from the Ivory Coast. Let me tell you, this NFL star had abs on top of abs, it was the real 300. But it just goes to show you that looks don't get you far in the brutal world of mma. For all his show, his jaw hit sideways and his head came tumbling down to the floor. Sick to football, because this sport is for real men. You know he was looking at the camera and thinking, "Man, that was a bad idea."

Then there was the Royce Gracie and Sakuraba fight. I was bettin' on Sakuraba because Royce hasn't been in the ring for a LONG time, but man, was that fight lame. Not to say I'm complaining because there wasn't anything flashy or blood, but c'mon, they did 3 rounds of pure DANCING. Sakuraba looked like he smoked a fat one before he got into the ring. He carried on an aura of "Yea... I'm here. Okay... let's fight so I can get back to drinking." It was terrible! There was a point where Royce was on the ground (on his back in guard position) kicking the calves and shins of Sakuraba as he stood up, and Sakuraba just took kick after kick, doing NOTHING. Wth? I hate it when people boo, but these guys weren't even technical. Sakuraba took Royce's back 3 times, but for some reason, they gave it to Royce on decision (probably because he had more punches in).

Lastly, for God knows what reason, the main fight was former "pro-wrestler" *coughactorcough* Lesner against a Korean mixed martial artist. Lesner used to be an actual wrestler, wrestling in high school and college. He gave up his acting career to train in real no-holds barred fighting. In less than a minute he got mount on the Korean and started landing the punches. Why the Korean tapped for this, I don't know. The whole night was filled with pansies. When it was over the announcer said, "For all you nay-sayers, here's a former WWE champ who won a good fight." WTF? He didn't win cause he was a fake fighter idiots! He won cause the other guy was lame and he was a collegiate wrestler who had already trained in mma for a while.

Oh I could choke the announcers.

I'm not sure if Dynamite will have more shows, but from that last event, I'm not sure if the future's bright.
