Amending / Side-dressing the rows of garlic was the work of yesterday. Wheelbarrow load after load of composted manure out to the garden, then the process of taking a fork at a time down the rows to line each section between the rows of new garlic. Most of the plants are now about 4-5" tall and looking rather nice. It is still pretty wet out there, but, not too bad.
Also amended a small section of ground where the lettuces that are in the greenhouse will go in a few weeks time. They need to grow a goodly bunch more afor being planted out and the weather needs to straighten itself up too.
Spring is coming! Right ?
