the daily farm
a weeks break is over, time to get back to work
Soon, very soon, the short break we get at the end of the year will be over. The grasp of winter has been quite a weak one this year, and it is best that we get a move on to take advantage of the milder weather.
Upcoming this week shall be finishing the cleaning of the glass greenhouse and Casa Emmons (hoop house), more firewood to be cut from logs we have already brought out from the wood, we must make some decisions on the new fencing to be put up out in the front pasture, and of course, the moving of the compost pile.
Late nights working on some scribal projects have been leaving me a wee short on sleep, but self inflicted troubles are just that.. self inflicted. :) The items are coming along nicely and will be appreciated (hopefully)!
Some re-work of the milking barn, and I must get materials and get 4 or so new feeders built and installed for the goats.
Where will I find time to build the other hoop house.
