Greetings from Sierra Vista

Hello all. I must start out with my most abject apologies to my dear friend Taylor. It was absolutely horrible of me to mispell your name in my last entry. I promised you a formal apology, and this is it. I would promise to never offend you in this way again...but I'm rather absentminded, and I think we both know that no such promise is possible. Thus endeth my apology to Taylor. (note not Tayor)

Well, I've finished my first day of work. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, so that's good. My uncle is an actuary, so all this crazy tax law is involved in his work. If you know me well, you know that the economy and myself are not the best of friends. So yes, he would say things about different regulations and taxes that kind of went over my head. This doesn't keep me from following directions though, and that's pretty much all I have to do at this point. I type, stuff envelopes, input data...that does not really require an understanding of what all the numbers mean.

So yes, that is my life. There are cats here...one is currently starring at me. His name is Radar. I learned from him today that 14 pound cats cannot sit on printer trays with any kind of positive result. The tray broke and then my aunt and I spent a good long while trying to put it back together. We did most of it, and when my uncle got home he got a left over piece to fit in. Unfortunately we still have one piece left that doesn't seem to have a place to be. Anyway, the printer seems to be working, so hopefully it was superfluous anyway (much like the appendix). I did feel rather accomplished getting the printer as close to normal as we did...quite the feat.

Ok, that's all for now. We all need to hang out before we head off to our separate places. :-)
