first of all, i'm sorry, but as an outsider looking in, i've decided Catholic youth have strange rituals :-P. no offense meant....

and actually i think people say "braked" in that case. I mean, i've heard lots of people say "yeah i braked but not hard enough and i ran into the back of the yugo, causing the driver severe whiplash."

Well, it's not something you really notice, as the average human does not usually lounge about with 2 rolls of duct tape on their person. However, duct tape does have a very distinctive smell, and it will stay with you for quite some time, I've learned.

Yes, definitely braked, and dog years...well, we've had this conversation. I gave a speech at my eighth grade graduation and started with a quote about duct tape- something like "duct tape is like the force- it has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together." Just thought I'd share.
