Pi Day recipes - Cube Roots and Tarte of Cream

Friday was Pi day (3/14, get it?)  Our longtime gaming friend and his better half rislyn hosted a Pi Day party for lots of their friends on Saturday (a large approximation of pi).  It was great to meet so many nifty people and game as only nerds can do.  The games were as good as the company.  Also, Sweetie brought his vintage Apple IIc and lots of folks ( Read more... )

Heya. I had your cubed roots at a party a while back, and was thinking to try the recipe as something to bring to an upcoming potluck where there's someone who is allergic to all manner of stuff I would usually cook.

One of the things she is allergic to is all manner of pepper (red, green, black, white (which given that the latter two have no relation to the former two, got me.))

Lemon pepper is mostly sugar, no? Any suggestions on quantities to use were I to use lemon juice and a little sugar instead? How important is the pepper bit of the lemon pepper?
