[ahhh, just a regular day out and about. you have here a video feed pointed towards a window, the buzz of an insect permeating from the speakers as said insect maneuvers itself towards the glass, twin needles framing the screen. the constant buzz is a little distracting, to be honest, but you can live with it. after all, it's nothing that you haven't seen before-- accidental video feed of a bald kid indoors, rummaging around the kitchen. he appears to find what he's looking for in the form of an apple, which he swipes off the counter. from the towel around his shoulders, he seemed to have been doing some sort of workout. the guy must be thirsty.

next, the fridge. you can see the light emanating from the inside as he jerks the door open, rummaging about. suddenly, his muffled voice-- loud enough to be audible even through the glass itself--]

Hey, grape juice? Man, that'd really hit the spot. [he moves away from the fridge. there's a thermos in hand, and he shakes it a little, gauging.] Wonder who got it.

[a pause, here. a shrug, and grin!] Bottoms up!

[a twist of the thermos lid. chug awaaaaaaay--]

.. GUHBWUH--

[DITTO TO THE FACE okay what just happened here MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN. there's a garbling noise, followed by the sound of something wet and purple plopping to the ground, and then, there's just Jackal on the ground, thermos in hand, looking for all the world to have been struck dumb by lightning and WHO THE HELL PUTS A DITTO IN A THERMOS IN A FRIDGE KLSAFJL oh fuck where is it--]

Shi--!! [emphatic swearing, just before the video feed suddenly rams itself against the glass. frantic beedrill is fraaaantic-- and feed cuts!]

[a few minutes later, a text message, mass texted in its urgency--]
