Sometimes it just seemed like one big mistake that he wished never had happened. Which was another thing he couldn’t change about the past; all he could do was add it to his list of regrets that he had made in his life.
The list of regrets was long but that particular regret had made itself onto the top of the list because it wouldn’t fade away. It couldn’t fade away when the cause of the regret still existed in his life.
He didn’t want the person to fade away; in fact a part of him wished that the person wouldn’t leave, but stay with him always.
