So. I require a bit of a distraction from the fact that Doctor Who airs on Saturday and it's only WEDNESDAY. And I figure, while I'm all ridiculous-crossover-y lately, it might be a good time for a sort of informal challenge request ( Read more... )

fic, torchwood, gossip girl, sarah jane adventures, house, dexter, no country for old men, doctor who, crossover challenge request, i am a geek, jeeves and wooster

Tell me you didn't see this coming.

Boondock Saints/Torchwood.

Owen's father? Paul Smecker. Either he didn't figure out he was gay until after his fling with Owen's mum, or he donated sperm.

Oh and Iron Man/Torchwood. Ianto and Pepper talk about their bosses.

I will take the scenarios into consideration, but may come up with something of my own. (Though I'll probably use the first, since you're the second one to ask for that crossover and writing two different ones for each would be more fun. *g*)

Edit: Actually, I am full of crap, because the second one gave me an awesome idea. :D

Owen's father? Paul Smecker.

CANON.

So totally canon even if I did have a different Willem Dafoe character in mind. I've been banging on about how much I think Burn Gorman looks like Willem to anyone who'll listen from about Cyberwoman.

I think the only reason I didn't consider Smecker was the gay thing, honestly, and that's workable around. And you know Jack would love him *g*

I now desperately want to write the epic dick-swinging contest Smecker and Jack would have, and their mild tug-o-war over Ianto ...

I now desperately want to read this.

Of course, the reason it's only a mild tug-o-war is that they realise a threesome would be much more fun, yes?

*is evil, yes*

*snort* It's actually more because I am far better at writing conflict than I am at writing threesomes, which completely elude me. Writing sex is complicated enough!

Well that is true, but there's always fading to black... *has, apparently, decided that Jack/Ianto/Smecker is hot - shocking, when it's me, really*

Iron Man/Torchwood, with a bonus shot of Jeeves and Wooster thrown in for fun. I don't know how familiar you are with J&W, but this should make sense either way. I hope. I really ought to be in bed, but this nailed me and I had to write it first ( ... )

Oh I love it! I'm familiar enough with J&W to enjoy it, though I've only read one of the books years ago and never seen the Stephen & Hugh version (someday!).

And I love Pepper and Ianto. That club should so exist.

I kind of got the idea from Discworld's L-Space, with all the libraries in all the dimensions conjoined. I was thinking about Pepper and Ianto, and how I had just the other day been wanting fic with Ianto and Jeeves commiserating, and then I went, "YES THE JUNIOR GANYMEDE IS LIKE L-SPACE." Thanks for knocking that idea loose. :D

No problem. I like this idea a lot. And Jeeves makes me giggle.

*squeaky flail* I LOVE the idea of a gentlemen's gentlemen's club (where the gentlemen aren't necessarily gentlemen) although I confess at the beginning I had the idea it might be Jarvis he was going to speak to. :)

Jarvis would totally deserve membership at the Junior Ganymede. Pepper just has to convince the Powers That Be that he's greater than the sum of his programming.

Would that mean that Mr. Smith could be a member? OMG

CAT. YOU HAVE TO WRITE MR. SMITH/JARVIS.

OMG that would be awesome. Mr Smith could totes be a member. I mean, there was that whole turning evil thing, but hell, if they let Brinkley stick around after repeatedly attempting murder and also committing arson, I think they'd probably let Mr Smith's whole trying-to-destroy-the-world thing slide.
