Holiday Weekend!
Sure, I only get one day off (that being tomorrow) but still you can feel it in the air, that holiday magic that one out of every five or six Xmas Seasons really inspires. It could be because of the 4pm sharp mega-blizzard that descended upon our pristine, frigid, but snowless landscape. There's something nice and cheerful about a good healthy winter storm. The more adamant the newsfolk are that you not drive, the better. Delightful.
I ate a whole nutmeg nut today. Nutmeg nut.. is that even the right thing to say? *Wikipedia Wujiwuji* Ah, apparently it is a Myristica (nutmeg) seed. Hrm. Anyhow, it was very interesting and made my mouth feel as though it was full of angry but tasty red sand.
Also, I am learning Swedish! A bit! I can count to 99 and say name several animals and foods. Additionally, I can say one entire phrase: Jog är studerande (say "ZHOY-ah stew-DEE-er-AND-ah") which means "I am a student." It's pretty slick.
We'll wrap up this mundane blog of blogs with a nice Blues Traveler quote:
